Morden, Manitoba is the home of Canadian Fossil Discovery Center.
In there is Bruce, the 43-foot Mosasaur who fossil was found near Morden in 1974. The fossil is 80 million years old and is the Guinness record holder for the largest mosasaur on public display.
Forty years after the fossil was dug up, the City of Morden built a full-size, full-colored replica of Bruce and incorporated him into the Morden welcome sign.
